Abstract:
Higher education schools, especially universities, face educational challenges in the context of globalization. Classroom teaching work involves engaging students' learning styles in the process of evaluating their architectural projects. However, at the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco in Mexico, the Architecture Design Workshop considers general parameters and not achievements during the process of development and scope of architectural solutions at the time of evaluation. The objective of this work is to implement the learning styles in all phases of the development of a project in the evaluation of the Architecture Design Workshop. This with the purpose of encouraging more active participation, both individual and in group, to improve learning skills and opportunities, as well as alternatives, forms of expression, organization and presentation of their proposals. The methodology is exploratory and qualitative type since during the process of execution of architectural projects students make use of the channels of auditory, kinesthetic and visual perception. The Kinesthetic channel is mostly the one in the workshop learning, so the need to determine the tools to be used and thus the student performs the approaches of solution of architectural projects. The results of the study determined that the main function of the evaluation will benefit students in the learning process and that teachers should implement qualitative assessment mechanisms which will allow to determine the degree of progress achieved by enhancing the ability to think critically and reflectively.
