1 NETWORK VIDEO PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN SPORTS BLENDED LEARNING
The teaching and learning of other disciplines in higher education sector is mainly based on the thoughts of teachers and students; however, sports teaching and learning must be with necessary thoughts, in addition to repeated body exercises including various body movements, which are very important to spread and learning of knowledge, skills and tactics relating to teaching and learning and to improvement of sports ability, as an essential part of teaching and learning process.

2 ESTABLISHING VIDEO APPLICATION MODEL BASED ON NETWORK ENVIRONMENT FOR SPORTS TEACHING AND LEARNING
On the one hand, there are difficulties in making and reorganizing video resources personally and problems of being hard to search and share while video application of course has the needs for certain favorable conditions to spread and for software and hardware facilities, such as network and classroom, which can not be provided by individuals. On the other hand, network indeed causes a more personalized trend toward the processing and presentation of video resources and sports teaching and learning, results in higher requirements for application of video resources and teachers’ personal quality, and imposes great influence on the effect of applying video resources.

3 VIDEO RESOURCE DATABASE IS THE FOUNDATION TO PREPARE DISCIPLINE-BASED CURRICULUMS
Video resource database is the foundation to prepare discipline-based curriculum and to apply videos to sports teaching and learning; for this reason, we must avoid repetitive work and deal with the problem of how to select and use the increasing teaching and learning software systems for sports teaching and learning.

4 VIDEO INTERACTION IS THE KEY OF NETWORK TEACHING ANG LEARNING PLATFORM
Video interaction can be embedded into different platforms, reflecting the unique features of sports teaching and learning. Video interaction, beyond doubt, is the key technology for network teaching and learning platform.

5 NETWORK VIDEO LIVING VOD AND WEBTV SYSTEM ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR SPORTS TEACHING AND LEARNING
Network video living is only for the lectures by renowned professors, in order to reach a wider coverage of teaching and learning resource sharing and to deal with the faculty shortage of popular courses. VOD is also based on stream media technology and thus could be an effective way to capitalize on video resources, converting various teaching and learning contents into streaming video format to be stored in stream media server. IPTV living system is to improve modern teaching and learning techniques, to provide firsthand teaching and learning videos based on sports events, and to further enrich campus life.
