Abstract:
This essay presents the aims and the results of an international applied linquistic project and a literature research project as twoo possible contents for Research and Education.

The first project which I present is an applied linquistic project. The basis of describing a model for the link between education and research is the Comenius project Primary and secondary continuity in the language learning and teaching”. In this project the work started with cognition related to select aspects of language learning and teaching practice. The participants from different countries collect, compare, discuss and systematize experiences.
The aim of the observations is to report the analysis of the methodical and thematical difference between language teaching in the secondary and the primary school. The problem is the gap between the two levels. The participants elaborated and developed bridging tasks on the basis of the state of the art. The bridging tasks will be tried out in many schools. The results will be available on the project website, and teachers can use them and provide feedback. (See the homepage: www.pri-sec-co.eu)

The second project is an international literature research project. In the research – initiated by Prof. Hans-Heino Ewers from the Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt - researchers from more than 30 countries from all over the world participated, primarily from Europe. The research topic was: The second world war in literature for adults, children and young adults. The research aspects were posted by the initiator on the website. Participants presented their results at a world conference, and the Peter Lang Editors publication related to the conference was compiled. The results are used by teachers and students in their essays.

The participants of the twoo projects worked with different research methods and made different steps but in the both projects was realised the content between Education and Research.
