Abstract:
The high order of complexity of the educational process in the context of contemporary society indicates need to develop strategic approach to knowledge creation. This strategy must be focused not only on individual learning, but also in a collaborative learning, which is supported by a technological network that enables creation of social network promoting dialogue among the actors of the process of teaching and learning. This article discusses the technological mediation as a strategy to innovate the teacher - student interaction in disciplines that use the traditional method of teaching and learning. In the context of a public institution of higher education this experience searched qualify the educational process through the use of a virtual learning environment. This experience showed that integration and management of facilities and features offered by information and communication technology allow you to extend processes and production activities and socialization of knowledge beyond the confined spaces of the classroom.
