Abstract:
Acquisition of courtesy behavior in preschool education took place through the experimental involvement of the humanoid robot NAO in a private kindergarten in Slovakia. The experiment took place on the basis of mutual cooperation of experimenters - experts from practice, researchers and a programmer. The programming of the robot was adapted to the developmental specifics of children. The qualitative indicators obtained from the experimental involvement of the humanoid robot focused on the following topics: greeting, mutual acquaintance, identification of emotions, joint games and dance confirmed that the involvement of the humanoid robot in preschool children was effective. The experimenters proceeded to re-engage the humanoid robot NAO in education with a socio-pedagogical intention focused on mastering the basics of courtesy behavior, which were "tailor-made" in terms of content and software for children in the experimental group.
