Abstract:
The Faculty of Administration of the Universidad Veracruzana in the Veracruz region, establishes as part of the mechanisms of vocational training of its students the participation in academic events that allow them to obtain knowledge; living with people from other disciplines, from other cities and even from other countries; acquire skills such as analysis, resolution, decision-making, validation, among others, and finally, promote values such as teamwork and collaboration, self-reflection, tolerance, responsibility, commitment, patience and initiative, as examples. Mixed cross-sectional descriptive research of the different student participations in academic entrepreneurship events is presented, such as Social Business Creation (SBC), Innova World Challenge and Imagine, Innovate and Entrepreneur. An interview was conducted with 57 students from the different educational programs taught in the Faculty of Administration and who have participated in some of the events. As a result, they consider that participating in this type of event opens a broader panorama with respect to their professional context, allowing them to perform more effectively in a globalized market.
