Abstract:
Tutoring systems in university institutions refer to the student’s care and guidance practice in their school career accompanied by an academic tutor, nowadays there is a need to implement strategies that relate the development of traditional mentoring mediated by the use of information technology to promote academic mentoring in university students, considering the inclusion of electronic and digital media that promote creative exchange and collaboration using various electronic resources, time and open space allow synchronous and asynchronous interaction by strengthening communication in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, now establishing a hybrid space. By aligning information technologies with mentoring, mentors can make use of online platforms that are transformed into good practices applied to mentoring.
Based on qualitative research the problem approach addresses the question Will good practices in e-tutoring be an effective tutorial work environment? It recognizes that tutors implement digital competencies as a strategy for: communication, collaboration, session planning, creation of files, content creation and evaluation through devices and applications, which allow direct contact with students. Identify what kind of digital tools: online platforms, electronic messengers, collaborative documents, etc., are the most used by tutors. Define a design for the e-tutoring best practice guide for new students.
Tutors should be attentive to emerging technologies so that they can include them in their tutorial practice, establish different communication channels that allow the student to convince themselves and approach to meet the established tutoring sessions. Nowadays electronic tutoring is an end for the attention and guidance of students, when publishing institutional information, sharing content, seeing yourself in the distance, concentrating the tutorial activity in cyberspace allowing the tutor and student relationship to be dynamic and effective. Keywords:
