Abstract:
The combination of teaching methods recognizes the inclusion of texts, videos, images, learning objects, digital platforms, etc. A face-to-face learning environment must permanently align the use of online educational platforms, the role of the university professor must be transformed with their inclusion, generating a sustainable action that allows the distribution of content and the collection of information through digital media.

The meaning of hybrid education manifested itself before COVID-19, university professors used platforms such as Eminus, Google Classroom, Moodle and Microsoft Teams, to align the planning of their study with methodological strategies, educational supports and performance evaluation. The teaching-learning process can be recognized as differentiated; activities requested in person by the university professors but delivered digitally by the student. The support of the platforms aims to promote sustainability, the delivery of school evidence, access to educational resources and possible socio-school interaction between students.

The context of this research involves the professors of the Faculty of Administration of the Universidad Veracruzana, to answer the question Do university professors align hybrid education to their subject as support in the teaching-learning process using online educational platforms? It is determined whether university professors combine online educational platforms that support their face-to-face practice; The objectives set are to: determine if they recognize the concept of hybrid education in their subjects, determine the use of educational platforms in accompaniment to face-to-face practice, and determine the advantages obtained by aligning a platform in the teaching-learning process. The results obtained show that most university professors do not combine the platforms and resistance to abandon face-to-face practices still prevails. Hybrid education is determined in a small group which aligned and combined platforms in their teaching practice more than 10 years ago. As future work, the COVID-19 pandemic is recognized, as an accelerated change in the use and application of IT in the educational context and that must be used to benefit the generation of knowledge, the resistance of some university professors is affected by the lack of interest or training in technological resources. A before and after will be clearly noticeable in the educational technological context in which we now live.
