Abstract:
Educational projects promote ideas of change and innovation and what has been learned must be embodied in the creation of products that provide a benefit to society. Technologies evolve, adapt and are adopted in the daily contexts of our lives. It is augmented reality (RA) an emerging technology that may be able to make significant changes to facilitate the transmission of knowledge. The inclusion of RA in higher education as a didactic resource to generate new skills and abilities in students. The objective is to develop a catalog of human teeth in RA to support the teaching-learning process of the students of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad Veracruzana, proposing to the students the use of a dynamic learning strategy applying this technology transforming the way of acquiring knowledge, serving as a perspective for other similar projects. This complements the real context and enriches it with the use of audiovisual media that support its understanding. It presents three dimensions: use, training and learning; integrating various technologies such as: audio and video editing, 3D elements, mobile devices and platforms to create RA content for development. In conclusion, this project aims to provide emerging skills in students, which generate and promote the use of technologies as immersive teaching resources in their future practice as professionals.
