Abstract:
One of the most laborious and tedious stages of each course of numerical methods is the generation of problems for each of the units of the same. Different problems are needed to use for class examples, assignments, and exams. Different problems are needed to have a wide variety of different problems from one school term to another to prevent students from having the solutions. Problems must have your answer, in addition to being solved in the time equivalent to that granted to answer an exam. The objective of this paper is to show a problem generator for the topic of systems of nonlinear equations. The set of programs developed allows the generation of a large number of problems with their respective response, such that a student can perform in the time given to answer the exams. One of the approaches with which a course can be taught is that of gamification, which essentially tries to use a game environment in areas as varied as health, education, among others. The problems obtained in the present work focus on systems of nonlinear equations whose roots have interpretation in a gamified environment. The algorithms for the elaboration of the programs, the implementation and results in terms of the generation of problems used in the subject of systems of nonlinear equations for the course of Numerical Methods in Engineering of the UAM Azcapotzalco are presented.
