Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to look at the evolution of organizational structure models adopted by universities in Russia and to determine the direction of the transformation of these structures. The authors describe various organizational structure models: vertical, matrix, administrative, and the model of multipolar (entrepreneurial) university. Changes in the specific features of the organizational nuclei of the models are analyzed. The authors prove that the multipolar university model will completely replace the administrative university model in Russia by 2020-25. It is supposed that in the long term the multipolar university model will be transformed into the model of education corporation. The main characteristics of the model are given.
