Abstract:
The model implemented by the Autonomous University of Morelos State (UAEM in Spanish) adds Engineer Junior, Professor Research and a technical Sponsor connecting all of them into the industrial process in automation systems. The model guarantees the transfer of Patents and Technology between them, allowing the publication of results in automation field and thesis development. It comprises the next steps based on a project time made in agreement by Industry and University: Skills qualifications by the scholar on automation and 3D design, analysis of the Industrial Activity that covers: Performing a task evaluation, establishing the elements involved in the activity industry under research (Hierarchy Task Analysis), establishing criteria to keep control over the operation, developing the logical sequence between activities to reduce the wastage of time, 3D design of the new device proposed, simulation of it with MATLAB and SolidWorks, and a quote of materials and devices to build the prototype. With these steps, it does the right design and assertive investment in the production process. Keywords:
Automation, Medium-sized enterprises, Technology transference.
