Abstract:
The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has become an essential ingredient for the survival and improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises, making them an essential factor that facilitates innovation and fosters internal capabilities towards new activities and ventures. The use of these technologies in organizations can increase the possibility of innovation, where the most innovative companies are likely to be the ones that invest more in its technological infrastructure and in specific computer applications.

This scenario emphasizes the importance of ICT for companies willing to develop new ventures and diversify, as well as create an intrapreneurship culture. ICT help employees and the whole organization to integrate knowledge along the company, enabling it to recognize, assess and exploit the business opportunities that are presented in their environment and industry.

In this sense, this study analyzes the impact of ICT in the level of intrapreneurship culture of organizations. From a sample of 87 SMES in the autonomous community of Basque Country, it is evident that the deployment and use of ICT positively affect the factors of intrapreneurship culture. The findings show the importance of these technologies and the role they can play in companies to create competitive advantage and to enter new business.
