Abstract:
In recent years, the role of coaching strategies in education has gained increasing attention as educators seek more effective ways to enhance student motivation and academic performance. Coaching in the classroom extends beyond traditional instruction by emphasizing personalized guidance, goal-setting, and continuous feedback. This approach encourages students to take ownership of their learning process, develop self-regulation skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
This article examines how various coaching strategies—such as motivational interviewing, formative feedback, and reflective practices—impact student engagement and achievement. It explores the ways in which supportive teacher-student relationships and structured coaching frameworks contribute to improved academic outcomes and a more positive learning environment. Additionally, the study discusses the challenges educators may face when integrating coaching techniques, including time constraints and the need for professional development.
The findings suggest that when implemented effectively, coaching strategies can significantly enhance both intrinsic motivation and academic success. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of equipping educators with the necessary skills to apply coaching methods, ultimately fostering a more student-centered and empowering educational experience. Keywords:
