Abstract:
After years of study, analysis and diagnosis of students’ profile and with the experience in organization of training activities in innovation and improvement of teaching, an implementation of methods for the detection of deficiencies and/or strengths that reflexively transmit the students to teachers has not been performed yet.

So, the objective of this research is to analyze comprehensively the possibilities in order to improve the results of assessment of students of Roman Law taking into account not only the qualifications obtained but identifying their strengths, weaknesses, etc… that is to say: make a SWOT analysis.

The SWOT analysis method, which target is to detect and study the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, is used in this case not from the standpoint of putting it in front of your competitor (as in the case of SWOT analysis aimed at companies, brands, services, etc ...) the virtues of the SWOT analysis matrix is used to build a map of the situation, knowledge, etc ... of our students.

The expected results will enable us, as teachers, to reach a deeper knowledge about the teaching activities with which we work in a legal context. Also, the student will start making this kind of analysis v.gr. to asses his/her employability.

The class results as whole provided with the analysis will identificate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of students in the context of legal education and willl verify the efficiency in acquiring knowledge and skills with the teaching activities performed.
