Abstract:
As new technologies are developed, new tutorial system configurations are designed, thus demanding constant updating of tutors so that their online performance and quality are assured guaranteeing interaction and pedagogical mediation. Therefore, the present research aimed at studying the difficulties that tutors deal with when using Moodle resources, and also at pondering on the tutorial system used for the course. Thus, a filed survey was carried out with semi-structural interviews, and also applying questionnaires, to the distance education tutors working at Pré-vestibular Social Teorema, a preparatory course to university admission exams, in Campos dos Goytacazes - RJ. After applying the questionnaires and having the interviews, data and reports were copied down and analyzed. It was possible to get to know some of the tutors` professional motivation, as well as their criticism and expectations related to the tutorial activities, providing an information source and increasing the scope of knowledge about this professional activity. Most tutors reported not having much difficulty to use the Moodle resources, despite the short time the distance education modality has been implemented at Teorema. This might be due to their previous experiences using the same platform for other courses, and also due to the training that they had at the moment they started their jobs as tutors.
