USE OF QUIET BOOK IN KINDERGARTEN

Abstract:
For preschool children, it is appropriate to develop fine motor skills. This teaching aid is suitable for this activity and helps to develop the perception of shapes, quantity and colours too. Some items are by their nature close to the ones in the real world, so this is not just a toy. As children can change some parts according to themselves, it serves to develop imagination too. The aim of the article is to describe the production possibilities of your own quiet book. Focus is also on the individual parts - activities for children. All these activities were tested and in conclusion, there was an interview with the children to find out what activities they liked or disliked and why. At the same time, there was a continual monitoring to obtain information about what activities cause children the most troubles. Thanks to the findings, children can focus on those activities and practise them. The worst evaluation was given to the part with press studs, which were hard to fasten and the reason was that they were new. And the like was evaluated the activity “Trousers and shoes”, trying to resolve fastening a buckle and tying laces up. Children do need to practise this activity, however, it is not attractive for them. On the other hand, the activity “Hanging clothes” achieved an excellent evaluation. It is very colourful and contains mini clothes pegs and other components. For children, the diversity of colours is determinative as well as the possibility of combinations. If the activity is too simple, then it is usually not very interesting. The obstacles and solutions in the own production are also mentioned in the article.Keywords:
