Abstract:
In the Republic of Croatia the Learning Management System (LMS) is used at the level of secondary education. Use of LMS at the level of secondary education, especially in teaching subject computer science, in the Republic of Croatia is through the Loomen system, where teacher can upload different digital educational materials that will be used in teaching. This paper will present the results of students’ attitudes about their experience of using digital educational materials. The research was conducted at the Administrative Secondary School in Zagreb in the school year 2016/17 on students of third and fourth grade. During the experimental phase of experiment, the experimental groups used digital educational materials that were created using the Adobe Captivate software for teaching units of Outlook 2010 (third grades) and Databases 2010 (fourth grades). Only the students of the experimental groups who worked with digital educational materials were involved in this research; third grade students (N= 30) and fourth grade students (N= 23) participated in the post-test phase. One of the goal in this research was to determine how students perceived digital educational materials. This paper will show the results of the post-test phase. Students were offered the statements about the digital educational materials and they had to rank them on the Likert scale.
