Abstract:
Actually, never having happened possibilities for the use of emerging ICT technologies to qualitative leap learning OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) in business courses. With the rapid diffusion of ICT and the increase in student population, mainly in Brazil arise in the justification to examine the benefits of using Twitter for the benefit of student learning. This article evaluates students’ experiences of using Twitter as a tool to qualitative leap learning OSH in business courses. As Twitter's features can help in learning concepts of health and safety at work, in addition, to improving the representation and / or image due to the use of innovative technologies in the course by the students. It was used a questionnaire to evaluate the learning results. The result shows that the perceptions of students in relation to Twitter were positive, despite appearing obstacles and unexpected implementer Twitter OSH courses. Some recommendations on how to adopt Twitter as innovation in the curriculum of health and safety with business strategy and recommendations for future research will be presented.
