Abstract:
Since the Plan for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Culture in the Andalusian Public Education System was approved in 2011, many actions have been developed aimed at promoting the values of innovation, creativity, responsibility and the entrepreneurship. The launch of the Educational Program "Innicia, Cultura Emprendedora" in the 2016-2017 academic year meant, on the one hand, the continuation of the actions related to the stimulation of the entrepreneurial culture, and on the other, it provided a reference framework in which new actions related to educating in entrepreneurship were directed [1].

In this context, the University of Jaén has been promoting courses, programs and initiatives so that the university community is trained in the promotion of entrepreneurial culture and motivate students to be entrepreneurs. Some initiatives combine training in entrepreneurship with the implementation of strategies such as contests in which the training received is put into practice. These initiatives that are proposed during the academic year have the objective of promoting and rewarding the entrepreneurial spirit and supporting the creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship of all the students enrolled and graduated from all the degrees of the University of Jaén.

This paper shows the experience of a group of teachers who participate in a project to promote entrepreneurial culture. The experience shows the activities that are proposed to the students to train and encourage entrepreneurship as well as, outside the framework of the subject, participate in a broader training that the university offers. The University of Jaén works to combine and adapt resources that provide skills and competencies that make the students have a better transition to working life. Some of the tools available to students are: technical advice from professionals from entities that collaborate with the University of Jaén, awarding final degree projects that incorporate business ideas, training to prepare a business plan and even providing to the best ideas financial aid, as well as facilitating business accommodation.
The result of the teaching experience has had different cases of success. This work shows a case of success of a student who, encouraged by the Entrepreneurial Culture Promotion project developed by his Engineering professors, has participated in different initiatives of the university and has won them. In addition, his participation and the training he received in entrepreneurship boosted his creative and innovative proposals to other challenges such as ANDALUCIA OPEN FUTURE [2].
