Abstract:
For over a dozen years, the question of ensuring the quality of academic education has been one of the priority issues of modern higher education (Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area ESG 2015, EUA). Defining qualification frameworks, constructing study programs emphasizing learning outcomes, teaching activities promoting a change in the academic teaching paradigm towards student-centered learning - all these aspects of the academic education space are constantly being developed and are aimed at better preparing graduates for the needs of the labor market based on dynamic and spectacular development of new technologies (Future of Jobs, WEF Report, 2020).

In this constantly and rapidly changing world, assuring the quality of academic education is an extremely important challenge involving the entire academic community. Therefore, good organization of university activities in the area of improving the quality of education, accurately adapted to the nature of the university and its community, covering many aspects of activities related to the quality of education, is a necessary condition to achieve the expected effects.

In this paper, I will present and discuss an example of multi-aspect, long-term actions aimed at enhancing the quality of education undertaken by the technical university community, leading to the continuous development of a quality culture. These innovative initiatives, which are holistic in nature and actively involve all participants in the process of academic education and scientific development of the university, undertaken as part of a joint project called 'University Platform for Mutual Inspiration', have become examples of good practices, appreciated by external accreditation committees as models to be implemented by other academic communities.
