Abstract:
In recent years, the use of educational videos has become a common learning strategy, offering dynamic and engaging content that suits a variety of learning styles. The positive relationship between the use of video in the educational process and academic performance is well documented in the scientific literature. The popularity of incorporating video content into education continues to grow. Despite this tendency, the transition of quality video production and editing programs to paid models poses a challenge for educational institutions looking for cost-effective solutions. This systematic review provides a comprehensive analysis of the experiences of various educational institutions in implementing video production and processing software, with a particular focus on identifying and evaluating free alternatives. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the broader discussion about accessible and effective tools for creating and processing educational videos that will help educators make informed choices and improve the quality of educational videos in academic settings.
