Lawyers, psychologists, social workers and other assisting professionals are involved in this assistance. Social workers have an important role to play in this area and, thanks to their education, are able to respond to the needs of victims of crime.

The contribution is based on a partial evaluation of a larger research study, the subject of the research was the special training of social workers working in the field of assistance to victims of crime.
