Abstract:

The current trend in vocational education is distance learning through e-learning. The advantages of e-learning education are low financial costs, low time, better accessibility for students, individual approach. The profession of social workers requires continuous improvement and dissemination of knowledge, both in existing areas of social work and in new areas that emerge. One of these areas is the training of social workers in helping particularly vulnerable crime victims.

The article will deal with possibilities of e-learning education of social workers in practice. It will focus on the interest and assessment of the advantages or disadvantages of vocational training through e-learning courses that would enhance the knowledge of social workers in helping victims of crime. This area is topical, but the education of social workers in this area is not sufficient. The aim of this study is to verify the possibilities of professional e-leaning education in the practice of social work.
