Abstract:
Digital technologies have had a significant impact on the development of modern society. Its influence on education is great, as it has transformed teaching/learning process more interactive, collaborative, engaging, accessible and convenient.

The paper focuses on effective changes in the process of learning/teaching a foreign language and increasing students’ motivation and aims at understanding the teaching methods used by teachers in foreign language lessons, especially mobile applications, to implement foreign language teaching/learning, and generalize the results of the research, taking into account existing realities and tendencies.

Considering the theories in the scientific literature where researchers claim the role of modern technologies in facilitating learning/teaching, then it is important to determine the role of mobile applications and the degree of effectiveness of their integration into teaching process.

The article discusses the importance of using modern mobile applications to improve the teaching/learning process. In particular, difficulties related to reading skills, reasons, the methods and strategies of dealing with the problem, their solution and the possible consequences are discussed.

The main findings of the presented research and the result can be considered as the description of the process of integration of these applications in the lesson, the descriptive analysis of the evaluation of the effectiveness of their application in practice and the presentation of the obtained results to evaluate the students' learning progress.

The study discusses mobile apps that are directly related to reading activity, enabling students to engage in active learning and interaction-based learning, which also makes each student's progress visible and facilitates their assessment.
