Abstract:
The use of internet is overspread nowadays. Besides the advantages such as pleasure and information, it has disadvantages. One of the problems that causes its use is cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is a new phenomenon in Albania. The aim of this study is to measure student's direct/indirect experience on Cyber bullying. The sample consists of 120 students of European University of Tirana. The instrument used for data collection consists on a self-reporting questionnaire divided into two sections. The questionnaire includes 27 questions: demographic question and questions about instances of cyberbullying. Also, this study requires to know which are the forms of technology used in cyberbullying and how often does it occur. The majority of students, reported that they knew someone who had been cyberbullied. Facebook, cell phones, were primary forms of technology, used to cyberbully. Also, data may be useful in designing a security strategy to limit cyber bullying.
