Abstract:
Education is an area that determines the quality of human capital. Representing one of society’s main social institutions, Kazakhstan’s education system is currently undergoing the process of optimal development. The article provides specific examples of the construction of undergraduate classes in economics using interactive methods, including business and role-playing games. In a business game, real conditions are simulated, meeting the educational, developmental, and learning objectives. Role playing game works through image-based learning. This method is similar to the business game method. Conditions for the organization of interactive learning: cooperation and communication between the students and with the teacher, the reciprocal motivation of students, the variety of forms and methods of presenting information.

In this article we will consider interactive forms of learning, in this case business game, role-playing game, and discussion. Economics is differentiated from other disciplines by its variability, the potential for obtaining a variety of solutions, a variety of points of view of scientific nature, and opportunities for the development of creative thinking. This allows to use interactive learning as one of the forms of intercommunication between the teacher and the student. Therefore, games can be potentially extremely helpful in helping to nurture critical thinking skills in undergraduate students.
