Abstract:

This article focuses on the use of the OiRA tool in the OiRA web platform as a new option and part of OSH teaching on the topic of risk assessment and creating checklists for specific industries or as a general tool. Risk assessment using a tool in the OiRA web platform can contribute to students' better understanding of the overall issue and the necessity of risk assessment in the workplace. Students can also learn to work with an online tool and in real practice, it will be no problem for them to create any checklist for any company with a specific focus. Students will also familiarize themselves with the basic legal standards and laws in the field of health and safety while filling them in and get an overview of the given issue. OiRA provides a simple and friendly way for the user to check the state of health and safety at the workplace and what possible threats and dangers can cause negative phenomena at the workplace as a result of accidents, material and financial losses. Part of the article will describe the advantages and disadvantages of using the OiRA tool theoretically as well as realistically from practice. In the article I will also point out the needs or any knowledge that is necessary for the filling itself. I will also explain what procedure is necessary for filling it out and clarify the real procedure for creating tools in the OiRA web platform. The aim of this post is to provide readers with information in the field of health and safety, about the possibility of transferring information from practice to the theoretical area for students, about risk assessment using the OiRA tool in the OiRA web platform, about the obtained statistical data, which will point out the need to carry out risk assessment in every single company and the possible reason for the occurrence of occupational accidents and the possibility of support for businesses.
