Abstract:
In the period since March 2020, many states have switched to a special regime not only in the overall regime of the state's functioning, but also in an area such as the education of their citizens. The article deals with the analysis of teaching in the Slovak Republic at all levels of education. In addition to the description of the basic principles of the transition to home and distance education in preschool facilities, primary and secondary schools but also in the higher education system, we describe not only the overall course, but also the results of the education.

The first part of the paper is devoted to the description of the form and methods of education in the Slovak Republic, the approaches of individual schools at each level. The second part of the paper is focused on the practical measurement and testing of the process at two selected universities in Bratislava. In this part, the results of practical measurements of several pedagogical activities and mutual comparison in selected schools are presented. It includes the results of a survey that looks at students' experiences of learning online. The survey was conducted at two faculties of economics in Slovakia (Faculty of Economic Informatics, University of Economics in Bratislava and Faculty of Economics and Business, Pan-European University). The survey consists of six parts. In the first part, we identified students. The second part deals with online teaching. This leads to finding out the preferences of students in online education. The third part deals with the technical support of online learning. The aim of this section is to identify problems in online learning and to find out the hardware that students use in online learning. The fourth part deals with the effectiveness of online learning. The fifth part focuses on software that uses online education. The sixth part deals with student satisfaction with online teaching.
