Abstract:
The occurrence of uncertainty should be taken into consideration at all phases of the pedagogical process. This paper is focused on the phase of detecting acquired knowledge (students´ evaluation) realized by pedagogical measurement which is usually subject to great uncertainty. As a measuring tool, usually objectivized valid questionnaire (test) is used, which is divided into particular sets of semantically connected questions. The respondent reacts to questions and the responses are evaluated by the evaluator. The total uncertainty of estimation of level of knowledge of respondents is caused by the choice of questionnaire items, by the uncertainty of scoring of responses and by the form of the recorded response of respondent. The aim of this paper is to show how to estimate the achieved knowledge of students using the value of special knowledge function based on measure uncertainty analysis of all questionnaire items using the fuzzy mathematics tools. The calculations were based on the data that was detected during teaching the subject Numerical methods at Jan Perner Transport Faculty at the University of Pardubice in the academic year 2014/2015.
