Abstract:
The article discusses the dependence of professional self-realization and mental health of pedagogues while working using distance technologies because of the pandemic. A direct relationship between these characteristics has been established in this issue.

Introduction. The problem of self-realization was widely studied in psychological science mainly in the XX century, both in Russia and abroad. In European and American psychology this issue was analyzed mainly in the context of the personal development of the subject of activity. In Russian psychology, the problem of self-realization was considered more widely. It was analyzed within professional activity, personal development, marital and family relations, educational activity, etc. (Korostyleva L.A. (2000,2005), Kostakova I.V. (2008), Hammad, S. M. (214), Sitnikova M.I. (2008), Kudinov S.I. (2007), etc.

Modern concepts in Russian psychological science are mainly performed within the system paradigm (Galazhinsky E. V. (2002) Kudinov S.I. 2007, 2008, 2011, 2015, 2019,2020,2021), Korostyleva L.A. (2005), Avdeev N.P. (2014), Aibazova S.R. (2015), Kudinov S.S. (2017), Davydova N.I. (2018), Zhang Peng Hao (2013), etc.

Methodology:
The research is done within the polysystem approach of studying of the personal self-realization by S. I. Kudinov. The following methods of investigation has been used during the research of professional self-realization of pedagogues: the "Multidimensional questionnaire of personal self-realization by S. I. Kudinov"; expert assessment; to determine health indicators: » General Health Questionnaire" (GHQ-12) by D. Goldberg; "Scale of psychological well-being" by K. Riff in the adaptation of N. N. Lepeshinsky; "Individual model of mental health" by A.V. Kozlov. The respondents are 132 pedagogues of higher educational institutions in Moscow and other regions of Russia.

The results:
The study has established the peculiarities of professional self-realization of pedagogues who realize pedagogical activity via distance technologies. The analysis of statistical data has showed a significant decrease in certain characteristics of professional self-realization. The limitation of creativity, optimism, satisfaction with the quality of life and reflexivity has been fixed. At the same time the results of investigation show an increase of pessimism, motivation to avoid failures and external self-regulation. The results of the mental health study led us to the conclusion that this indicator also changed. During the distance learning period, pedagogues noted visible marks of decline of the psycho-emotional condition and negative emotional manifestations: irritability, aggression, hypochondria, and depression. The results of the correlation analysis show direct statistically dependencies between the studied phenomena.

The conclusions:
The conducted research allows us to conclude that distance learning during the pandemic affected negatively both the mental health of pedagogues and their professional self-realization.
