Abstract:
The increasing tendency of applying information and communication technologies, as part of the educational process through educational courses for primary and secondary schools, is one of the most distinctive and most debated topics by experts. As a part of current efforts to improve the quality of education is gaining importance on the process of pupils learning and problem solving (FEP, 2007). As well as it is becoming increasingly important role of the teacher, especially its professional competence (skills and abilities). The paper presents problems of implementation of touch devices, not only as a part of technical education, but as a sub-component of the educational process across different subjects. The paper deals with the use of touch devices in educational process at primary schools and their anchorages within the curriculum in the Czech Republic. It presents the partial results of the completed grant projects which aims are to implement a tablet into educational reality. In today's information society is a question of the issue very topical. Educational policy in the Czech Republic reacts to the topic by financial support in the context of calls for proposals. The Year 2015 was designated as the Year of industry and technical education. In accordance with the above points the authors emphasize the importance of professional teacher’s competencies with the focus on ICT skills that expand the base of teacher professionalism. The article presents the initial part of the project, which is developed through the relationship of ICT and teacher competence in the 21st century as part of an innovative approach to teaching. Authors discuss issues of ICT skills in constructivist teaching and developing the structure of these skills in the modern concept of partial dimension to the level of knowledge, personal, social and methodical. The main part of the paper is the reflection of the research outputs that were carried out under the project.Keywords:
