FEATURES OF INTELLIGENCE AND CREATIVITY OF THE PRESCHOOL CHILDREN ATTENDING THE PRESCHOOL ORGANIZATIONS OF DIFFERENT KIND

Abstract:
In modern psychology the basic concepts defining success of cognitive activity of the person are such concepts as intelligence, creativity and abilities. The creative heritage of Russian and foreign psychologists on research of the problem of intelligence and creativity is great and manifold. This aspect has found reflection in works of such researchers as G.Yu. Ayzenk, A.G. Asmolov, F. Barron, D. Veksler, M. Vertgeymer, J. Gilford, H. Gruber, R. Krachfild, A. Maslow, S. Mednik, N.S. Leytes, A.P. Ogurtsov, E. Roe, R. Stenberg, E. Torrance, M. Wallakh, J. Hunter, J. Heslrud, E. Schechtel, etc. The most general signs of creativity were studied by G.S. Altshuller, D.B. Bogoyavlenskaya, Ch.K. Borisov, A.V. Brushlinsky, M.S. Kagan, V.K. Kirillova, T.V. Kirillov, A.G. Kovalyov, N.V. Kuzmina, A.N. Luk, A.M. Matyushkin, Ya.A. Ponomarev, I.E. Strelkova, A. I. Subetto, D.V. Ushakova, M.A. Kholodnaya, A.T. Shumilin and others. Now researchers are looking for an integrated indicator characterizing a creative person.

The object of an empirical research were children of 5-6 years attending municipal preschool educational institutions of Rostov-on-Don that are working according to the educational program of preschool education "From birth to school" (N.E. Veraksa, T.S. Komarova, M.A. Vasilyeva) in the amount of 35 people and the preschool children of 5-6 years in the amount of 30 people attendting private preschool developing children's centers working on M. Montessori's system and not attending educational institutions of other types. In total 65 children of the advanced preschool age have participated in the research.

As methodical tools Wexler's test (children's version) and the test of creativity of E.P. Torrence have been used. For diagnostics of creativity of examinees us it was used by that E. Torrence's creativity, consisting of three subtests. Thus, according to the analysis of intelligence and creativity of the senior preschool children. attending the children's developing center and kindergarten, it is possible to draw the following conclusions.

There are significant differences in empirical indicators of intelligence between the preschool children visiting MBPEI and their peers attending the children's developing center:
- The senior preschool children attending the children's developing center have average and above an average the levels of development of creativity and intellectual activity.
- The senior preschool children attending kindergarten have the average level of creativity and intellectual activity.

There are significant distinctions in creativity indicators "Flexibility" and "Originality" between the senior preschool children visiting the children's developing center and the senior preschool children attending kindergarten.
