Abstract:
Teaching students nowadays contains necessary skills, knowledge as well as prepared study materials to share during lessons. For some it may seem like easy job, for others teaching is their lifelong goal. Many educators were used to teaching face-to-face, but COVID-19 pandemic changed everything, especially during lockdowns in different countries. Many educators were not prepared to change their lessons from face-to-face to online, as they had to recreate study materials in different form than they were previously prepared. Thus, educators had to look for new teaching platforms as well as platforms and programs to share sufficiently study materials for students. This, however, was not the only problem. Insufficient hardware and software posed as another problem during remote learning and educators had to look for tools to supplement hardware in their homes, to teach sufficiently.

This however changed during last two years and many educators found a suitable way to teach. They prepared study materials in electronic form, so that they could be used anytime, as well as they found suitable platforms to realise teaching through it. Possibly the worst experience with the sudden change experienced new educators, that were not used to usually used tools or e-learning platforms, even more so when they had to suddenly change the way of teaching, as not each and every activity is suitable for e-learning as it takes more time.

During spring of 2021 was activated questionnaire for educators of the Faculty of operation and economics of transport and communications, at University of Zilina, to compare their perception of remote learning to student´s perception. While students perceived it quite positively, educators were quite negative about it. As form of teaching changed back to normal, face-to-face, it seems necessary to find out how their perception changed. Thus, it is aimed to be the main goal of this paper.

At the beginning there will be explained theoretical background of the paper’s problem, next will be introduced methodology as well as further elaborated the goal of the paper. Subsequently, the results of new survey will be evaluated which will be further compared with the results of previous survey. At the end will be stated the conclusions, that were found.
