Abstract:
This article deals with the issue of the importance of assessing environmental factors in the creation of strategic analysis. Among other things, strategic analysis should provide information on opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses in the strategic management process. During this year, we conducted an experiment on bachelor's and master's degree students (19-22 years) and on students studying in lifelong learning (21-45 years), on a total of 100 respondents. As part of the experiment, we showed students a documentary about the future under the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), after which we asked students the same set of questions. The experiment was carried out in the form of open-ended questions. Subsequently, we evaluated the students' answers in the form of a qualitative analysis. Data evaluation was performed using MAXQDA, which is a world-leading software. The result of the qualitative research brought differences in the assessment of conclusions and in the assessment of opportunities and threats related to AI. The experiment showed a high influence of subjective assessment of factors in formulating evaluations for possible strategic analysis. These results bring new findings to the ongoing phase of the advent of Industry 4.0, but may also serve in the future to clarify approaches to strategic analysis in the study of such subjects.
