Abstract:
Additional courses for university students, like international summer or winter schools respond to the needs of the current European labor market. Higher Education Institutions increasingly pay attention to skills that students can obtain much easier during short term mobility focused on team work in international environment. For some time now courses have been organized like a mix of face-to-face classes and e-learning. For first period such activities were found interesting and innovative. Situation changed significantly in 2020, when COVID pandemic pushed universities to be even one step ahead and teach fully virtually. Those months experiences gathered during previous blended courses were priceless. Finally, progressive throw-back to on-side classes cased the ongoing debate on the subject of proper and effective proportions between on site, hybrid and virtual learning.

This study presents results of analyses of above 90 students surveys conducted during 4 summer courses organized by partnership of a few European universities that allow to make conclusions about learners point of view against a backdrop of virtual and on-site part of courses. The conclusions were weigh against teachers opinions in this field.
