Abstract:
Introduction
The main task of medical biophysics teaching is to prepare students to understand the physical laws that are applied in medicine. In the current syllabus of medical biophysics at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava are included such topics, as: electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic spectrum, reflection and refraction of the light at the interface of two optical media with different refractive index, the basic principles of electromagnetic fields detection, optical properties of human vision, using of individual components of electromagnetic light which are crucial for diagnostic and therapeutic methods in medicine.

Material and methods
Knowledge assessment was realised in the 1st year of medical study in the acad. year 2020/2021 with the aim to obtain a feedback information about knowledge on the properties of an electromagnetic spectrum and light. Results of 2 continuous tests and one resulting test as a part of exam on medical biophysics were analysed. Studied sample was composed of 464 Slovak and 250 students studied in English. The test included 100 True/False questions.
All questions were available in the e-learning LMS platform Moodle and they were answered online. E-learning system Moodle allows to analyse a quiz structure, in the same time difficulty of separate test questions, i.e. average grade of all attempts, average grade of last attempts, average grade of highest graded attempts, median grade, score distribution skewness, score distribution kurtosis, coefficient of internal consistency, error ratio, standard error.

Results
Success rate of given answers to the questions in the exam test (acad. year 2020/2021) was evaluated. The best answered questions were about index of refraction, wavelength and frequency of a light and properties of the visible light (100 %), the lowest success answers to questions were about light behaviour on the interface of two media, transition of light through medium, principles of a photocell, visual perception and physical principles of the endoscopes (about 70-75 %).

Conclusion
In the teaching process of Medical biophysics is involved a full complex of experimental tasks and their processing that deal with observing and registering of electromagnetic fields and different aspects of the light.
In the frame of teaching of medical biophysics, it was elaborated a set of continuous and exam knowledge tests. Analysis of them allows us to pay our attention to some individual topics of medical biophysics during teaching.
