Abstract:
A comparative analysis of 3D object software programming technologies - such as three.js, webGl, unity, unreal engine, blender scripts - is made. A methodology for a software engineering workshop is created and described. A creative brainstorming approach, used by Google educators, is described and applied to the workshop. Approaches to the process for the creation and modeling of 3D objects are presented and a methodology is plotted. Explanation and instructions on how to include 3D objects to a software project are presented. Methods for using 3D in web are discussed and examples of good practices and successful solutions are given. A software application on Android is used to present 3D objects through VR box glasses and a phone to the students and a demonstration on how to use such tools is held. Descriptions of hardware products that can be used in the visualization of 3D objects for a software engineering team project are presented and discussed. An overview of the observed results is shown.
