Abstract:
In the modern world, young people are exposed to various types of stress, which affects the degree of readiness / ungreediness’ for changes in social and other areas of life, as well as for experiencing the fulfilment of their lives. Speaking about changes, it is important to mention that a person needs successful adaptation, due to the readiness for innovation, which also underlines the relevance of this work. The pilot study involved 60 university students aged 18 to 23 years.
For diagnosis, two methods were used:
1) Personal readiness for change in the context of studying the phenomenon of "expectation" (N.A. Bazhanova);
2) The Existence scale Lenglet and Orgler (a method for diagnosing the meaningfulness of life).
From our point of view, the following results were the most important. Correlation analysis were able to identify direct relationships between the development of students' ability to cope with themselves and with the world, with such qualities as openness, experiencing an increase in energy during changes in life, faith in success, in their hopes. Students who were most fully aware of their lives, with possible changes in life, were ready to cope with the current situation, obstacles, and made decisions with greater understanding and ease; they were emotionally open, and that helped them to cope with change and innovation. Interestingly, the students who developed the ability to interact with the world decisively and responsibly, to make bold decisions, not only believed that they be would experience a surge of energy during changes in their lives, but also felt a craving for the unknown and self-confidence. It was also found that students with significant values, have been developed emotional sensitivity, experienced a surge of energy with changes in their lives, believed in success, in their hopes. They were distinguished by the fact that they were able to find a way out of difficult situations, experiencing self-confidence. It was important that students capable of self-transcendence, faced with changes in their lives, were ready to demonstrate passion, resourcefulness, optimism and trust. Regression analysis showed that an increase in the experience of fullness of meaning in one's life caused an increase in the level of readiness for changes in the life and activities of university students.Keywords:
