Abstract:
The purpose of this paper was identifying potentials stressors of military students in the Army of the Czech Republic. Common theme in the literature is that college students are faced up with a unique set of stressors that may be overwhelming. In the research part, method of quantitative research was used with the unstandardized questionnaire research technique. This is a self-assessing test of rating perceptions of stressors. The research sample consisted of a total 140 military students of Faculty of military leadership in University of Defence in Brno. Explored data were collected in the period from September 2018 to November 2018. The respondents are determined to serve in the direct leadership in the Army of the Czech Republic. The results are going to be applied for suggestion and recommendation to increasing the readiness of graduates of the University of Defence to manage the post of army leader immediately after graduation. The results are discussed in the context of the training of military leaders under the auspices of Ministry of Defence in the Czech Republic.
