Abstract:
Challenges!!! The rapid development of technologies and their implementation not only in research laboratories and industry, but also in our daily lives, poses many challenges. Some professions are disappearing, others are appearing. How to prepare future employees to meet the needs of an unknown business? Schools are the places where new personalities are built, universities deepen their competencies and develop researchers, artists, etc. How does this happen? One of the new paradigm in schools is the so-called STEAME (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics and Entrepreneurship). This is an opportunity to look at a problem from different perspectives. How does the university respond to this approach and continue it?

Over the decades, universities have been profiled in various specialties and fields. The technological challenges of the last two decades suggest the development of a new type of academic training that gives a broader view of the world. Last year, an initiative of the EC operational program focuses on the new type of universities. A call was announced to unite universities to present a new perspective on the development of the academic community in greater cooperation and meeting the needs of the business.

This article discusses the process of creating a consortium of three universities with different profiles, one institute, and a business association as well as the new university design. The presented project is a synergy between all players to build training as a synergy of disciplines needed in the labor market. The horizontal basis of all of them is information technologies and their application based on a subject. The covid-19 pandemic and the need to continue our life in a more technological environment while maintaining our communication, co-working added touch to this proposal.

The included universities’ areas are computer science, library studies, cultural heritage, tourism, food, and forest science. At first look, it is too broad as a consortium, all of them are immersed in information technologies.
