THE IMPACT OF THE INSTITUTION OF EDUCATION ON THE FORMATION OF DIGITAL CAPITAL IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract:
The role of the institution of education in the modern information society is significantly transformed, which is manifested in the revision of its functions, structure, forms and types of educational processes, etc. The possibilities of this social institution in shaping human capital, and especially in relation to the formation of digital capital, are changing. The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of the educational institution in the formation of the digital capital of a person.
Research methods:
The main theoretical foundations of the study are the theory of the information society, information culture, human capital. Research methods used in the work - document analysis, expert survey.
The results of the study:
The study showed that the institute of education in the Russian Federation today does not allow to fully form the digital capital of a person that meets modern requirements. At the first stage of preschool education, digital competencies and their formation are ignored; at the elementary school level, there is little impact on the emergence of digital competencies. The institute of education begins to have the most significant influence in the process of university education when choosing the appropriate direction of training.
In such conditions, the institute of education does not meet the needs of the digital economy and the challenges of social development, which affects the imbalance of the labor market and the crisis phenomena both in education and in the economy.Keywords:
