Abstract:
Traditional training is usually conducted at a specific time, place and in the presence of a teacher. It requires the learner to enter a suitably equipped classroom and listen to and follow the instructions of the teacher present. This also applies to traditional learning, supported by e-environment and e-resources.

Today, in a pandemic, almost all human activities have to be transmitted to the Internet and performed remotely. This also applies to the learning process. Can the room at home provide the necessary conditions for the learner?

This paper is implemented by a research project of the University of Library Science and Information Technologies, Bulgaria. It describes the results of a study conducted on the influence of side factors in the process of testing the knowledge of a group of students. Students are provided with an IoT device that reads data on the level of noise and illumination in the room where the online test is being taken. It is reported for how long the student has solved a certain number of test questions and with what success. The study was conducted in both quiet and noisy environments, as well as in well and insufficiently well-lit rooms. Through provided IoT devices during testing were recorded and collected data on noise level and degree of well-lit in the room.

So the collected data are processed and analyzed and identify what the optimal conditions must have training "at home".The study results will give insight into how they affect some domestic factors on the learning process and will be in favour of improving the educational process in terms of the pandemic.
