Mobile learning (M – Learning) is an educational method that allows students and teachers to perform their educational activities by using remote, mobile devices. It gives a chance to remove distance limitations that block traditional education process. Today, M – Learning becomes more popular with advance of mobile technologies. This paper describes an advanced M – Learning system that enable students to learn fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its widely used techniques like fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks and genetic algorithms. Nowadays, artificial intelligence is one of the most popular fields of computer science. It has an important place with its studies based on simulating human thinking and behaviours in machines. Artificial intelligence techniques are used in many fields such as electronic, biology, physics, medicine, machine industry, military, social sciences and education. So, it is important to learn fundamentals and using styles of widely used artificial intelligence techniques.

With developed M – Learning system, students can use their mobile devices to login learning system and begin their educational activities immediately. They can enter lesson contents, use interactive tools, view three dimensional (3D) animations or graphics and take examinations about given lessons. On the other hand, teachers can import new lesson contents or edit saved ones. It is also possible to prepare simple animations or graphics by using integrated system tools. Some of these tools are used for preparing graphics and visual examples for specific artificial intelligence techniques. Generally, using visual elements to teach artificial intelligence and its techniques is an important factor to reach educational aims. In the developed M – Learning system, teachers can also prepare exercises and examinations to control students’ learning process. The system has an advanced tool that controls students’ learning process and give suggestions to plan or change their learning strategies. This tool is named as “Smart Help”. Some information like examination results and system using percentage help Smart Help to get idea about students’ learning process. Teachers can give a difficulty level point for all prepared lesson contents and Smart Help can use these difficulty level points to suggest contents that are suitable for each student’s learning level. The system has a simple interface that provides a fast learning or teaching experience for both teachers and students. With developed M – Learning system, teachers and students can perform educational activities in an effective way and fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its widely used techniques can be learned easily.
