Abstract:
Citizens lack of trust in authorities and the loss of cohesion in society are omnipresent in anonymous social environments like inner cities. The project aims to improve the participation of individuals through research and practical testing of digital tools. Thus, we want to increase the quality of life experience of people who have hitherto considered themselves not heard. The project focusses its attention on dealing with the current social change and coping with the resulting social challenges. The project investigates experiences of biographical and social disruptions that are related to the construct of "resonance" conceived as a counter-model to breakage. Based on the resonance theory establishes by Hartmut Rosa (2019) in the social science and interviews about individual fracture experiences, it describes that people in certain social contexts and beyond an intersubjective relationship feel more or less heard and accepted. Resonance describes the positive evaluation of a condition in social contexts and is characterised by perceived self-efficacy embedded in social, cultural or religious contexts. Social resonance spaces are characterized by individuals communicating and interacting self-effectively for the individual. We develop practice-oriented approaches for reactivating mutual resonance and understand relationship in various social contexts for to design innovative educational formats and digital tools. The use of experimental and digitally supported methods, innovative formats and approaches for social learning in the context of social and political education are piloted and sustainably transferred. The project stands for the possibility of a new beginning and the recovery of a constructive-shaping view of society as an alternative to tendencies of isolation, apathy and radicalization. The approach is based on the four basic aspects to be combined: analysis of people´s motivation within the target group, concepts for digital tools, technical research and development, tests at place and implementation in real environments.
