Abstract:
The paper is devoted to effective techniques of teaching speech forms to university students in multicultural educational medium. The relevance of the problem under study can be defined as the need for the practical application of accumulated speaking skills of students. The effectiveness of implementation of modern technologies (digital educational technologies, interactive and intensive techniques) in the language teaching and learning processes in Kazan federal university is under analysis. To study the effectiveness of the mentioned technologies an integrated methodology, theoretical and empirical research methods were used. The major findings that emerged were as follows: intensive language teaching methodology is effective and intensifies students’ speaking and communicative skills, moreover, it focuses on teaching all types of speech activities: writing, auditing, reading, and different forms of communication as monologue and dialogue. It is possible to define the advantages of the intensive method as follows: the formation of speaking and listening skills in students is based on the use of significant vocabulary material in a short period of time. At the same time, the inevitable psychological overloads are removed thanks to the training method itself. Observing the psychophysiological state of students, a high level of their interest, concentration on training activities, memorization and excellent results of assimilation stability was found during the process of learning.
