Abstract:
The article deals with the problem of the formation of linguistic professional competence in the framework of higher education as one of the priority components of an integral system of professionally important qualities of a modern specialist. This type of competence is an integrated quality of a comprehensively developed and educated personality of future graduates of higher educational institutions. A modern specialist, bachelor's or master's degree must have a high level of development of linguistic professional competence, since a future professional needs to exist and be competitive in the modern multilingual world. The purpose of the study is to solve the scientific problem of finding an integrated system of means for the formation of linguistic professional competence. The authors associate the solution to this problem with the organization of a developing foreign language educational environment, which, in turn, implies the embodiment of innovative ideas of personality-oriented education, as well as productive pedagogical interaction. The article analyzes the views of various authors on the organization of a foreign language educational environment, as well as analyzes various innovative forms of work within each of the types of speech activity. In addition, one of the main conditions for the successful formation of linguistic professional competence is the creation of a socio-cultural vocational and educational space for the implementation of the processes of development and self-development of the individual, which ensures an active position of students in educational activities and readiness for professional activities. The results of the study are that the specificity of the linguistic professional competence of a student of higher education was determined, and the means of its formation were also identified.
