Abstract:
Research on the influence of educational leadership on achieving school goals is most often carried out through the prism of academic achievements (e.g. state or national tests), other school goals - nurture are ignored by researchers. The paper will present the results of the research aimed at verifying the models of direct and indirect impact of leadership styles (Charismatic / Value-Based Leadership, Team-Oriented Leadership, Humane-Oriented Leadership, Self-Protective Leadership) on bullying. Variables mediated were the school climate (relations between students, relations between teachers and students, tie with school and perception of teaching) perceived by students and teachers. The research was conducted by means of a survey (CAWI) in 20 schools attended by directors (20), teachers (371) and students (3764). The results of the research indicate the complex nature of the impact of leadership on peer violence: leadership influences bullying through the school's climate perceived by pupils, while the direct influence occurs in the case of repeated perpetrators of bullying.
