Abstract:

This article primarily deals with promoting education in the postal sector by creating multimedia applications. Multimedia as a combination of text, audio, graphics, animation, interactivity and video appear as the best way of expression or presentation of any information. Multimedia (3D modeling and animation) represent the support tool for interactive education and with this tools we can better understand the relevant processes, technologies or equipment.

It focused on the issue of postal processes of collecting postal items themselves after delivery through multimedia. There are analyzed different types of parcel and letter sorting equipment. The main part of the article is a description, what type of steps is necessary to do it, if you want to create multimedia applications for mechanized and automated processing of mail. Last part of the article describes 3D models, which was a necessary to build in conjunction with multimedia application in postal sector.
