Abstract:
Adaptation of students at the University takes on average one year, but for students with disabilities, this process can take up to three years. Students with disabilities face various difficulties in the process of adaptation, socialization and self-organization. For many students, after studying in correctional schools or at home, the format of regular interpersonal interaction with a large group of people is unusual.

In 2019, Ural Federal University developed the first adaptive online course in Russia for students with disabilities, which is currently unique in the online education market. The adaptation module for persons with disabilities is aimed at developing students, first of all, practical skills of adaptation and socialization: conscious self-regulation, self-presentation, stabilization of self-esteem and interpersonal interaction.

The adaptation module is designed for 6 credit points. It is divided into 2 disciplines with 3 credits each "Fundamentals of Personal Growth" and "Development of Body Resources". The module is hosted on the national Open education platform (https://openedu.ru/) and the largest international platform edX.org. As of June 30, 2020, the National Open education platform has 1,929 students enrolled in the course "Fundamentals of Personal Growth", and 1,894 students are enrolled in the course "Development of Body Resources".

The article will present the results of the initial testing of the module for 2019-2020. In order to implement an objective analysis of the results of testing, a survey was conducted among students studying in the module's disciplines (N=200), which allows evaluating quantitative and qualitative indicators of feedback about the study of the module.
